Microsoft SQL Server DBA

Description

Martech is currently looking for a talented Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator to join the team to architect and enhance SQL Server 2005 databases for new and existing applications and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and enhance SQL Server 2005 database for new and existing applications and processes
  • Create, modify, and tune T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views using established coding conventions
  • Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server jobs and processes, including: backend, reporting, and data transfer processes. 
  • Investigate and resolve support issues that have been identified as database related

Requirements

  • Detail oriented, talented T-SQL developer, capable of turning requirements into production ready code
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts and database architecture and design
  • Effective communicator: able to work with managers, web/API/database developers, QA testers, customer service, and third parties
  • Flexible: capable of juggling multiple priorities and willing to do what it takes to meet a critical deadline
  • Minimum 4 years SQL Server development experience, including experience in both eCommerce and highly available OLTP environments
  • Experience with the following is a plus: XML, DTS, SSIS, CLR, TFS
  • Must be highly motivated, a quick learner, and able to work independently or on a team
