
Outdoor retailer Cotswold Outdoor has launched an online community using Martech Social's M.Social platform.
The online community at http://community.cotswoldoutdoor.com was launched to create an online destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The community will add value to Cotswold customers by providing expert advice and tips from staff.
Members will be able to create a profile, upload photos and videos, offer their own tips, seek advice and interact with other members of the community. The site will also list a variety of events and groups that people can join and become involved with.
Utilising the latest social networking functionality, the community integrates with Facebook Connect enabling visitors to join up using their Facebook account details. Michael Austin, Digital Marketing Manager for Cotswold said "Being able to provide a community where outdoor enthusiasts can interact with each other, our brands and staff through sharing tips, offering advice and much more will add value to our customers experience in the outdoors and enhance our offering in the digital space".
